Proposal Evaluation Process Overview

Venture Programmers will evaluate your idea. Where necessary, we will also invite external experts to assist us in giving your idea the best possible evaluation.

All we we are looking for at this stage is whether you have an idea that could be turned into a money making business - or expands your existing business potential.
Assuming we like the idea, we will invite you to meet with us to discuss this potential further.

At this stage, our Directorate Team are looking to see if we can all work together on your project and whether you have the skills, contacts and motivation to get your ideas of the ground successfully.

At this stage, our Technical Director will arrange a meeting with the most appropriate of our programmers and help build a project team that meets your needs.

We will evaluate what will be needed to implement your technical solution and prepare a project proposal.
The final step is to evaluate the value of the business and to make you a formal written offer.

1. Register

Your first step is to register. Once you are registered, you'll have access to a lot more information and assistance.

Prepare your business proposal

Use our guided proposal wizard to build your business proposal. Take as long as you want over this, taking advantage of the resources that we will make available to you to ensure you have the best possible chance of success.

2. Submit your proposal for initial evaluation

When you are ready, pay the initial evaluation fee and submit your proposal to us. We will consider your proposal and send you a reply.

Depending upon your proposal you will receive one of four replies:
  • We may ask for additional information before we make our decision
  • We may invite you to attend a face to face evaluation meeting
  • If we like your idea, but are unhappy with the proposal as it stands, then we may ask you to do further preparation, or may ask you to seek outside assistance or a partnership in order to enhance your proposal.
  • If we think your proposal is not right for us, then we will say so

3. Face to face business evaluation

When you get to this stage, we already think your business idea has merit!

What we are looking for now is whether or not you have the necessary skills, motivation, experience and contacts to make the business work. Building a technical solution, while very important, will never be enough on it own to turn a fledgling business into a successful one.

For example, if your business was going to be an Internet based shop to sell high quality widgets to the public, but you had no deals with widget suppliers, then the chances are you'd end up with a great shop but nothing to sell!  The other necessity, of course, would be a strategy for making the public aware that your shop exists and persuading them that you are the best possible supplier of widgets.

Technical evaluation

Once you have satisfied us that you have what it takes to make a success of the business, the next step is for us to secure the best qualified Venture Programmers and build a suitable development team for you. This team will determine the amount of their time that the technical solution will take - that is their level of investment - and prepare a project proposal.

4. Strike a deal

Once we have fully evaluated and accepted your business proposal, value of your business and the technical project proposal from the development team we will then make you an offer.

An offer will detail what work we are prepared to do for you in exchange for a certain share in the business. It will also detail what we expect from you at various stages to ensure that everything is ready for the business to proceed once the technical solution is delivered. This may be showing our Directors evidence of firm deals you have with suppliers, preparation of content for the website, or any other similar requirements.

Venture programmers - Your business partner

Once you have our offer, you can decide whether to accept and go into business with us, or reject our offer and walk away. You are under no obligation at any stage until you finally accept an offer and an agreement is signed.

Your four steps:

  1. Register
  2. Submit your proposal
  3. Attend an evaluation meeting
  4. Strike a deal

Experts with a vested interest

Paid for developers typically have no interest in your business beyond the paid job. You get what you ask for, not necessarily what your business needs. A technical partner with a vested interest will take the time to ensure you get the best possible solution.

Better returns for your skills

In exchange for a commitment to the technical development of an idea into a successful business, our clients will offer you a share of the profits that your skills will help realise. Full-time or part-time, your skills are valuable to our entrepreneurial clients.
